Waldo Lake, Oregon

Owned by the forest service, this lake is one of the clearest in the world, 250 feet below serfice is visible. On a really hot day, jump of the swimming dock or paddle twards one of the many small islands.

This lake/campground is known to few people and is beautiful. Deer walk through campspots, but be careful not to move or they'll get scared. Climb the little hill in the middle of the small campground and find a little rock fort made by the past campers. Be sure not to knock it down, I worked on that hard. There is also a little secret beach not labeld on the map. Find it and enjoy paradise, catch frogs or dragon tadpoles and watch them swim away. 36 miles around the lake and benches to rest. This lake is one of the few in the world to look like this anymore.
